Established in 1986 under Jay Dass’s leadership, JDASS CORP began its journey with an electronics store in downtown Toronto. Since then, we’ve diversified into real estate, hospitality, the metal industry, and retail, boasting a robust investment portfolio and substantial land holdings across the GTA. With nearly four decades of industry expertise, JDASS has cultivated a network of brands and projects positioned for enduring success across the GTA.
At JDass Corp we believe in giving back to our community. We are proud to announce that we have started a charitable foundation – JDass Charitable Foundation. We take corporate responsibility seriously and are committed to following green initiatives to protect the environment. In addition, we are devoted to supporting local charities and families in need. JDass Charitable Foundation, a philanthropic organization supported by JDass Corporation and located at 370 New Enterprise Way, Woodbridge, ON, places a strong emphasis on community support. Our commitment extends to creating employment opportunities, collaborating with local organizations, and actively participating in significant causes. Putting people first is our enduring pledge.

Present Day
A New Era of Growth and Innovation
With the acquisitions of Mississauga Convention Centre and Shanty Bay Golf Club, JDass Corp has solidified its presence in the hospitality and leisure sectors. Building on this momentum, the successful launches of Quick Scrap Metal, Food World Supermarket and Skye Hotel & Residences have further showcased our commitment to excellence and innovation.
With exciting new ventures such as J.Dass Distillery and a variety of e-commerce and brick-and-mortar businesses set to launch, the future at JDass Corp has never been brighter. We are also proud to welcome our team to a state-of-the-art corporate headquarters as we continue to grow and thrive.
2018
From Vision to Steel Industry Leadership
JDass Corp sets its sights on a new venture, expanding into the world of steel and metal products. Dass Metal Products is founded on a tenet of “second to none service”.
With aggressive investment in cutting-edge technology, an exceptional team, and a state-of-the-art 100,000 sf steel service centre, Dass Metal Products grows into top player in the industry. In 2022, Dass Metal Products expanded again with two new divisions; Dass Steel Service Centre and Dass Rebar.
2009
From Land Holdings to Large-Scale Development
JDass Corp continues to leverage substantial land holdings by developing dozens of industrial and commercial properties across the GTA.
Over the next decade, JDass will take advantage of the booming Canadian real estate industry and evolve into a construction and land development powerhouse.
1998
Growth into the Hospitality Sector
With a growing real estate portfolio, JDass Corp launches a hospitality division with the construction of a new banquet hall and event space in Brampton, Ontario.
JDass Corp spent the early 2000’s expanding this part of their business with the construction of two new facilities, Woodbine Hotel and Woodbine Banquet Hall.

The Beginning of the Dass Journey in Canada
The Dass family arrives in Canada in the search of new opportunities and opens their flagship electronics store, Teletime, at Yonge & Dundas Square in Downtown Toronto.
In just two short years, Teletime expanded to five locations throughout the GTA (Greater Toronto Area). Building upon their success, the Dass family, led by patriarch Jay Dass, begins making savvy investments in Toronto real estate.

Our flexible spaces accommodate intimate gatherings as well as large-scale events for hundreds of guests.
We recommend booking at least 6–12 months in advance for large events such as weddings, galas, and conferences, especially for peak seasons. For smaller meetings and corporate functions, 2–3 months notice is typically sufficient. Contact our team for availability.
Yes, we offer full in-house catering with an extensive menu featuring international cuisines. Our culinary team works closely with you to customise menus for dietary needs and event themes. Catering is included in most of our event packages.
Our venue is fully equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual technology including projection screens, HD projectors, sound systems, microphones, and lighting. AV support is included in corporate packages; social event packages may vary.
Yes, we offer ample complimentary on-site parking for all guests. The venue is conveniently located at 75 Derry Rd W, Mississauga, with easy access from major highways and public transit routes across the GTA.
